Transfer Modes

There are two types of transfer modes specifying how and where data is transmitted to and from the client. Active is the default method used in most cases, however in some cases where a firewall is being used a Passive connection can resolve issues with ports being blocked. These two types of transfer modes have there differences in how data is transferred. Read more about each method for a full explanation.
