ABOR
ABORT
This command tells the server to abort the previous
service command and any associated transfer of data. The
abort command may require "special action" to force recognition from
the server. If the service command in question was already completed the reply
from the server will be that the abort command was successful.
If the service command in question is still in progress the server
aborts the FTP service in progress and closes the data connection. The server
will then send two replies.
- The service request terminated abnormally. (426)
- The abort command was successfully processed. (226)
